We have launched Lauritz.com’s new app. We’ve really been looking forward to revealing it to everyone and sending it out into the world. We hope that you will come to think just as highly of it as we do and will love using it.
Lauritz.com typically has 8,000 auctions running at any one time, all waiting for your bid. So the app is ideal for everyone who collects art, appreciates top quality and good designer names, or anyone who’s looking for a personal gift or a new sofa for the living room.
With the new app you can bid directly from your smartphone on art, design objects, antiques and collectables – anything that may take your fancy at Lauritz.com. The app will hopefully make it even easier for you to keep track of the auctions, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing.
You no longer run the risk of forgetting to bid on that classic piece of designer furniture you’ve been dreaming of for years or missing the closing minutes of an auction just because you’re at work (maybe even in a meeting …), fetching the children from school, sitting in a motorway traffic jam, or out with friends Saturday evening.
Now you can bid on modern art while you’re watching your favourite TV series, bid on Arne Jacobsen’s Swan chair while preparing food in the kitchen, bid on holidays while you’re sitting on the train, or follow the lots you have at auction yourself while you’re out shopping for dinner.
The app has been developed so it’s easy to search directly for what you’re looking for and to follow your favourite auctions. We’ve also made it simple for you to send details of your items in for online valuation if you’re considering selling at auction.
Lauritz.com was the first auction house in the world to convert to online auctions. With our new app we hope also to be able to set new standards for how you can be inspired, buy and sell at auction using an app.
