Help functions

• Under Auctions you can select category, showroom, estimate and time options. You can add search words in order to define the search more closely
• If you know the lot number, this can be written in the search field on the 'Homepage' or under 'Auctions'.

If you register as a user you will automatically have access to 'My page' and a range of help functions:

Lot searches

• If you find it difficult to keep track of the large number of lots on Auktionshuset.com, as a user you can set up a Lot search under My page (see the illustration below). Then you will receive an e-mail each time Lot search finds a new lot which fulfils your search criteria. Lot search is updated each night. You can also set up Lot search by clicking on 'Create Lot search' under Auctions.

• All lots which you are bidding on are gathered together in a list under My page - 'Active bids'. Here you can follow selected auctions and be presented with an overview of the lots you are interested in. We recommend that you place your bid towards the start of the auction period, so there is time for you to be outbid if your interest does not last. You may want to read about cancellation rights here
• You can bid in two ways – the easiest way is to use the max-bud service. Here bidding is carried out for you, without your having to be sitting at a computer. Read more under Bidding

Email a friend

• When you find a lot which you think can be of interest to a friend, you have the option (when you are logged in) of sending them an automatically generated e-mail with information about the lot.

My page
When you have registered as a customer you are automatically given your own page, 'My page'. Here you can

• see the basic information you have entered, i.e. name, address, language, subscribing to/cancelling newsletters, etc. (You can at any time correct or update your details)
• find an overview of your bids – both on lots which are yet to close and lots where the auction has ended
• find an overview of your active or closed sales
• find an overview of your purchases
• set up one or several Lot searches. You will then receive an e-mail when Lot search finds a new lot which matches your search criteria. (You can always edit or delete your searches)
• pay for your purchases under 'Payments'. Here you can also find an overview of your overall sales and purchase history

Mail service
You automatically receive an e-mail from us:

• When you place a bid
• If you are outbid
• If you buy an item
• When settlement is made to you on sale of an item
• When Lot search has found a lot which matches your search criteria
• If a lot on which you have bid earlier comes back on auction
• If you have said yes to receiving newsletters from Auktionshuset.com
