Description

C.F. Bonnesen /Søren Berg for Royal Copenhagen. 'Nordpolen', white figure group/dish decorated with two polar bears. Signed C.F. Bonnesen, and signed underneath S.B., dated 13.3.28. H. approx. 23 cm, L. approx. 39 cm. Firing and glazing defects; one figure with minor chip in glaze on one ear. Created according to an idea by Arnold Krog for the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900.
