Description
Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. 'The Egg', lounge chair, matching footstool, Models 3316 and 3127, designed in 1958-1959 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Produced by Fritz Hansen with logo and serial number embossed in the frame. Swivel cylindrical centre base with tilt mechanism on four-star aluminium base. Stool with profiled column. The lounge set originates from a non-smoking home. Reupholstered by the authorized Fritz Hansen dealer in 2016 in black normally patinated 'Elegance' aniline leather. (2)
