Poul Kjærholm 1929-1980. Coffee table from 'Exhibition system', in aluminium and black-varnished MDF, assembled with machine screws. Designed in 1979. Produced by PP furniture. H. 33 cm. W. 96 cm. Literature: Michael A. Sheridan. 'The Furniture of Poul Kjærholm: Catalogue Raisonne', 2008, discussed and reproduced on p. 211. Rarely offered at auction. Age-related wear.
Hanne Kjærholm received the 'Exhibition system' in aluminium for her extension of the Holstebro Art Museum 'The Wing'.
