Description
Le Corbusier 1887-1965. LC2 lounge chair, frame in chrome-plated tubular steel, loose cushions upholstered in black leather. Designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1928. Produced by Cassina, label and serial number embossed in the frame. H. 66/47 cm. Lit. Charlotte & Peter Fiell. ‘1000 Chairs', reproduced and discussed p. 133. Features regular usage-related traces of wear, slight marks and patina.
