Description

Poul Kjærholm 1929-1980. A pair of PK-22 lounge chairs, satin-brushed spring steel frames, recently reupholstered in cognac-coloured aniline leather. Designed in 1955. Produced and stamped by E. Kold Christensen. H. 72/30 cm. W. 63 cm. D. 67 cm. Age-related signs of wear on frame. Professionally reupholstered.

Aniline leather is made of high-quality raw leather. As a rule, the leather has a completely natural stripped surface, where all natural marks are visible. This helps to emphasize the unique character of the leather. The leather is full-grain, which means that the natural surface structure is preserved. Aniline leather changes over time through use and the effects of light, and it quickly develops a naturally beautiful patina.
