Description

Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. 'The Swan', vintage lounge chair. Produced by Fritz Hansen, Model 3323. Reupholstered in cognac-coloured leather, swivel four-star aluminium base, on wheels. Tilt mechanism and manual height adjustment. Designed from 1957 to 1958 for the Hotel Royal in Copenhagen. Signs of age-related wear and patina. Literature: Carsten Thau and Kjeld Vindum. 'Arne Jacobsen', discussed and reproduced on p. 469.
