Arne Jacobsen. 'The Swan', lounge chair, swivel four-star aluminium base, upholstered in cognac-coloured aniline leather. Produced by Fritz Hansen, Model 3320. Designed from 1957 to 1958 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Literature: Carsten Thau and Kjeld Vindum. 'Arne Jacobsen', 1998, reproduced on p. 469. Recently reupholstered by Danish professional upholsterers in Denmark in cognac-coloured aniline leather.
