Description
Anton Michelsen. Two pots in silver with a lid knob shaped like berries with foliage, detachable handles in ebony with silver mountings. Top has engraved crowned monograms with initials MF surrounded by foliage. One pot has remnants of internal gilding. Pots and lids stamped Michelsen, Copenhagen stamp 1847, a month mark in the form of a scorpion for the period 23/10-22/11, and a stamp of the assay master Peter Reimer Hinnerup, 1840-1863. H. with a lid approx. 13 cm. Ø 19.5 cm. Weight of silver 1,455 and 1,508 g. Total weight of silver 2,963 g. Total weight including mounts 3,090 g. Signs of wear. (2)
