Description

Helge Vestergaard Jensen. Daybed with frame in solid wengé wood, nylon cord webbing, cushion upholstered in cream-coloured channel-stitched leather. Headrest cushion included. L. 192 cm. W. 73. SH. 38-39 cm. Presented at the Cabinetmakers' Guild Furniture Exhibition in the Danish Museum of Art and Design, Copenhagen, 30 September - 16 October 1955. Literature: Grete Jalk [ed.]: 'Dansk Møbelkunst Gennem 40 Aar', vol. 3, reproduced and discussed pp. 342-343. Literature: 'Mobilia' no. 50, November 1959. Slight signs of wear on cushion.
