Description
Arne Jacobsen, 1902-1971. Four lounge chairs, 'The Swan', on four-star swivel base in solid-cast, profiled aluminium. Early model with original patinated leather upholstery. Designed in 1957-58 as part of the total decor of Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Produced by Fritz Hansen, March 1966. With patinated leather, slightly porous foam. One chair with piping worn though at one point. One chair with craquelure on one armrest. (4) Literature: C. Thau & K. Vindum: Arne Jacobsen. Described and reproduced p. 46. Table not included.
