Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. A pair of chairs, Model 3208, 'The Seagull'/'The Lily', frame in chromed tubular steel, seat and armrests upholstered in cognac-coloured aniline leather. Designed in 1970. Produced by Fritz Hansen. Seat height 47 cm. Model photos. Reupholstered by professional upholsterers. (2)

Aniline leather is made of high-quality raw leather. As a rule, the leather has a completely natural stripped surface, where all natural marks are visible. This helps to emphasize the unique character of the leather. The leather is full-grain, which means that the natural surface structure is preserved. Aniline leather changes over time through use and the effects of light, and it quickly develops a naturally beautiful patina.
