Description

A vintage sapphire and diamond ring set with an oval unheated sapphire weighing app. 8.20 ct. encircled by numerous tapered baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds totalling app. 3.60 ct. mounted in platinum. Diamond colour: F-G. Clarity: VVS-VS. Ring size: 58. Front: 2.3x2.6 cm. Circa 1960s.
Magnification: The sapphire shows intact crystals and intact, fine intersecting rutile needles. Minor abrasions on facet edges.
