Description

Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. Set of six lounge chairs 'Series 7', shells in bent plywood, frame in chromed tubular steel. Reupholstered in cognac-coloured aniline leather on shells and armrests. Designed in 1955. Produced by Fritz Hansen, Model 3207. H. 75/44 cm. Reupholstered in aniline leather. (6)

Aniline leather is made of high-quality raw leather. As a rule, the leather has a completely natural stripped surface, where all natural marks are visible. This helps to emphasize the unique character of the leather. The leather is full-grain, which means that the natural surface structure is preserved. Aniline leather changes over time through use and the effects of light, and it quickly develops a naturally beautiful patina.
