Description
Hans J. Wegner 1914-2007. Lounge chair, 'The Chair', in patinated teak. Designed in 1949. Produced and stamped by Cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. Normal patina, frame with some marks and a small repair. Literature: Grete Jalk [ed.]. 'Dansk møbelkunst gennem 40 Aar: Københavns Snedkerlaugs møbeludstillinger', Vol. 3 pp. 98-101. Reupholstered in exclusive, cognac-coloured aniline leather.
