Description

Hans J. Wegner 1914-2007. A set of six Airport Chairs, steel legs, upholstered in black aniline leather. Produced by the AP-Stolen, Model AP-38. Slight height difference. H. Two chairs 81 cm. Four chairs 79 cm. Seat H. approx. 45 cm. Recently reupholstered by professional upholsterers. (6)

Aniline leather is made of high-quality raw leather. As a rule, the leather has a completely natural stripped surface, where all natural marks are visible. This helps to emphasize the unique character of the leather. The leather is full-grain, which means that the natural surface structure is preserved. Aniline leather changes over time through use and the effects of light, and it quickly develops a naturally beautiful patina.
