Description

Bang & Olufsen, Beolit 40, from c. 1940, radio with cabinet, bars, buttons and scale frame in white and brown Bakelite. This model was the first radio with a Bakelite cabinet. Designed 1937-38, produced 1939-40. The mould was lost during the war in a bombing raid of the factory and production was first resumed in the 1950s. H. 24 cm. L. 51 cm. D. 26 cm. Later fabric flex. In working order according to the consignor. Minimal wear, text on the display though askew. Lauritz.com does not guarantee functionality.
