Description
Vilhelm Arnesen. The English royal yacht 'Victoria and Albert' off Gilleleje, oil on canvas, by Vilhelm Arnesen (1865-1948), signed and dated Vilh. Arnesen 13/9-1903. 94 x 142 cm (110 x 158 cm). In the background of the painting two British ships can be seen: The royal yacht 'Victoria and Albert' and a cruiser in the Prince of Wales class. King Edward VII visited King Christian IX in 1903.
