Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. 'The Egg'. Lounge chair with tilting mechanism, upholstered in wool 'Fame', swivel centre column with four-star base in aluminium. Designed in 1958-59 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Produced by Fritz Hansen, 2008, Model 3316, 'Red Label'. H. 104/39 cm. Minimal signs of wear. Literature: C. Thau and K. Vindum.
