Description

Poul Henningsen. 'Artichoke' pendant lamp, 72 copper blades on 12 chromed steel arcs, chromed aluminium socket. Ø 60 cm. Designed in 1957-1959 for the Langelinie Pavilion in Copenhagen. Produced by Louis Poulsen. Canopy and a bulb are included. Common signs of wear, including dirt and some oxidised blades.
