Description
Arne Jacobsen 1902-1972. 'The Egg', Fritz Hansen, serial number and logo embossed in frame. Reupholstered in Denmark by former Fritz Hansen upholsterers with vegetable tanned aniline leather. Swivel centre column with four-star base in aluminium, tilting mechanism and retractor. Designed in 1958-1959 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Literature: C. Thau and K. Vindum.
