Eero Saarinen 1910-1961. Lounge chair, 'Womb chair', upholstered in orange Hallingdal wool, loose cushions in seat and back, frame in steel. Designed in 1946. Produced and stamp by Knoll. H. 93/42 cm. W. 105 cm. D. approx. 100 cm. Minor signs of wear. Literature: Peter Fiell. '1000 Chairs', p. 287.
