Description
Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. Lounge chair, 'The Egg', Model 3316 with tilt function. Four-star solid moulded aluminium. Designed in 1958. Produced by Fritz Hansen with company logo and serial numbers engraved in the frame. Reupholstered in exclusive Nubuck aniline leather by professional Danish upholsterers.
Nubuck aniline leather changes with time through use and light effects and quickly gets a beautiful natural patina. Literature: C Thau/K. Vindum. 'Arne Jacobsen', 1998, reproduced pp. 144, 432, pp. 433, 438-439, 467, 471-472.
