Description
Arne Jacobsen 1902-1972. 'The Egg', Model 3316. Swivel centre column with four-star base in aluminium, with tilt function. Produced by Fritz Hansen with serial number and logo embossed in the frame. Recently reupholstered in Denmark by former Fritz Hansen upholsterers in vegetable tanned aniline leather. Designed in 1958-1959 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Literature: C. Thau and K. Vindum.
