Description

Le Corbusier 1887-1965. LC2 lounge chair, frame in black-varnished steel, loose cushions upholstered in black leather. Designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in 1928. Produced by Cassina, stamp and serial number embossed in frame. H. 68/50 cm. W. approx. 75 cm. D. approx. 70 cm. Signs of minimal wear. Literature: Charlotte and Peter Fiell. '1000 Chairs', reproduced and discussed on p. 133.
