Description

Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. 'The Swan', Model 3320. Lounge chair upholstered in purple wool, swivel four-star base in aluminium. Designed from 1957 to 1958 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Produced and labelled by Fritz Hansen, 'Brown Label', 2014. Identification number on the frame. H. 77/39 cm. Minimal signs of wear. Literature: Carsten Thau and Kjeld Vindum. 'Arne Jacobsen', reproduced and discussed pp. 469-470.
