Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007). ‘The China Chair', armchair with a frame in solid cherry, designed in 1943. Produced by Fritz Hansen 1980 labelled accordingly, model FH 4283. H. 82/44 cm. Accompanied by an original loose reversible ‘Red Label' seat cushion from 2008, upholstered in buttoned black leather. Displays minor usage-related traces of wear. Lit. Noritsugu Oda: 'Hans J.
