Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. 'The Egg', lounge chair with tilt mechanism, upholstered in light 'Fame' wool, swivel centre column with four-star base in aluminium. Designed in 1958-1959 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Produced and stamped at Fritz Hansen, 'Brown Label', 2011, with serial number engraved in frame. H. 105/42 cm. Literature: C. Thau and K. Vindum.
