Narhwal tusk, 'Monodon monoceros', 2.80 cm.
Rarely offered narwhal tusk at 2.80 cm. Reportedly the longest narwhal tusk offered at auction. Shot by Jan Lorenzen in 2004 in the city Scoresbysund (Ittoqqortoormiit), Greenland. The narwhal tusk is mounted on a solid mahogany plate with brass rings. L. 280 cm. Ø 6 cm. Weight 10 kg. Transport case included.
