Arne Jacobsen. Unique copy of 'The Egg', original light blue textile with bronze base sold in connection with BO BEDRE's 60th anniversary, to benefit 'Hus Forbi'
Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. 'The Egg'. Designed in 1958 by Arne Jacobsen. Produced by Fritz Hansen.

The light blue textile is the original colour chosen by Arne Jacobsen when he designed 'The Egg' for the SAS Hotel Royal Copenhagen. The textile points back to the time when the eminent magazine BO BEDRE was born, which has become the former of opinion about interior design in Denmark, the Nordic countries, and internationally.

For this one-of-a-kind anniversary version, celebrating BO BEDRE's 60th anniversary, Fritz Hansen has chosen a bronze base. Bronze is an indestructible material, well known from sculpture and the world of art–an exclusive material with a warm glow. The chair is part of BO BEDRE's celebration of their 60th anniversary.

Lauritz.com will donate all proceeds from the sale of the item, including all commissions and fees, directly to 'Hus Forbi'.
