Description
Money box (piggy bank) by Laurits Andersen Ring (1854-1933) for Herman A. Kähler (1846-1917). Earthenware with ochre-yellow and black glaze. One side with the word 'Mimsie', which according to information was the pet name for L.A. Ring's wife. Signed LAR and HAK, c. 1900. L. 26. H. 10 cm. Smal chips on edge, on ear broken off.
