At Auktionshuset.com, we have been working since 2003 with internal training of our experts plus others with a special interest in our field. This makes us one of the largest on the market for education in art, design, and antiques in the Nordics.

Apart from lots of enthusiasm and an interest in art, design, history, no specific training is required to start at Auktionshuset.com. We train our experts ourselves in a mixture of master teaching and teaching under the auspices of Auktionshuset.com University and our collaboration with relevant external actors.

We collaborate with museums with relevant expertise.

We reward and distribute grants to rising stars in the design sky, who work with sustainable design in collaboration with ‘Bo Bedre’, ‘Svensk Form’ and ‘Bonnier’.

Over many years, we have helped secure many jobs in a unique niche industry. We started Auktionshuset.com with only 8 employees. Since then, it has grown to hundreds.

Goal 13: Climate Action

We mediate the purchase and sale of used items.

We pack in recycled packaging, and we shred leftovers of cardboard for packaging.

Our transport partner drives between our auction houses with full cars; both out and home.

When we collect items from customers, we arrange several collections on the same drive.

We cultivate partnerships, where together we can make 2 + 2 become 5.

Charity
Over the years, we have held more than 250 charity auctions for the benefit of ‘Danmarks Indsamling’, ‘Kræftens Bekæmpelse’, Youth Red Cross, Thin Blue Line etc.

We have raised more than 45 million DKK for the organizations since 2010. It is life-giving for the organizations and charitable at heart for us.

We collaborate with organizations that set the sustainable agenda, e.g: Tomorrow Festival and Fair Festival. And we have participated in the Danish ‘Folkemøde’ on Bornholm.

Recognition of talents
We also collaborate with various design organizations, magazines etc. such as ‘Svensk Form’, ‘Bo Bedre’, ‘3 Days of Design’ and ‘Bonnier’. We do that, among other things with a wish of supporting and celebrating young talent; for example, artisans and designers who work sustainably and whose works we expect to see at auction in the future. These collaborations help to encourage young talents to cultivate the sustainable business model and themselves to become role models for future generations.

auktionshuset.com supports charity and hosts a large number of charity auctions, where we donate all fees to the good cause. Since 2010, we have held more than 250 large and small charity auctions and raised more than DKK 45 million.
