The basic tree is designed in Denmark by happy® xmas trees in collaboration with Krebs Design. The trees are made from flameproof fibreglass, with a white surface.
The entire sales proceeds from the auction incl. commissions go to Happy Xmas Tree in aid of Happy Forest, who work to plant Jatropha trees in Mali, Africa. Lauritz.com is donating hammer fee, buyer's premium and seller's commission.
Location of the trees:
This tree is on display in Copenhagen. It is therefore not on view at Lauritz.com. Read more about the location of the tree, etc. on www.happyxmastrees.com.
The Happy Xmas Tree exhibition closes in Øksnehallen in Copenhagen, where all of the trees can be viewed together from 27 December to 1 January 2011. (The auction ends 29 December 2010.)
Collection of the trees:
Trees must be collected in Øksnehallen before 2 January 2011, where DHL will be responsible for handing over all of the trees.
