Børge Mogensen. ‘Spoke-Back Sofa’ in varnished beech, loose cushions newly upholstered in buttoned black leather. H. 80 cm. W. 165-210 cm. Seat height 40 cm. Designed in 1945. Produced by Fritz Hansen, Model 1789. Minimal signs of wear on the frame. Literature: F. Sieck. 'Dansk Møbelkunst', discussed and reproduced, p. 178.
