Description

Siamese Buddha, sitting in lotus position on a separate throne, in partly gilt bronze. 1600s. H. 43 cm. W. 24 cm. Signs of wear. The Buddha was given as a gift to Otto Bødker (1918-2000) by the Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX of Thailand (1927-2016) in 1947.
