Description
Hans J. Wegner 1914 - -2007. Armchair 'China Chair' with later black-varnished frame, the seat with original loose reversible cushion in red buttoned leather. Designed 1943. Produced by Fritz Hansen, model FH4283. Revarnished but with multiple cases of minor edge chipping underneath the varnish. Cushion with patina. Lit. Noritsugu Oda: 'Hans J. Wegner's 100 Chairs', p. 22-23.
