Carl Mathorne 1878-1942. Olie på pap. Parti af Sct. Hans Torv i sne 1917, i forgrunden plakatsøjle. Sign. monogram 1917. 41 x 49,5 cm. NB: Kunstnernavn tilføjet 19/12.
Historik: Maleren og direktøren for Statens Museum for Kunst Karl Madsen (1855-1938) boede i den røde ejendom.
Proveniens: Den norske maler Arne Lofthus (1881-1962) der var gift med mus. dir. Karl Madsen (1855-1938)'s datter Sofie. Museumsbygningen Kunstauktion nr. 43 lot nr. 263.
