This lot has been donated by the artist and Fritz Hansen. The entire sales proceeds (hammer price, hammer fee and commissions) will go to the Danish charity appeal 'Danmarks Indsamling 09' to give poor families in Africa a future. The sales proceeds will go to the following organizations: BØRNEfonden, IBIS, the Danish Refugee Council, ADRA, Médecins sans Frontière, MS Danish Association for International Co-operation, Save the Children Denmark, SOS Children's Villages, UNICEF, the Danish Red Cross, DanChurchAid and CARE. Lauritz.com donates hammer fee, buyer's premium and seller's commission.

The chairs can be viewed at Lauritz.com’s showroom in Herlev, where they can also be collected after the auction.
