Arne Jacobsen 1902-1971. 'The Egg', Model 3317, upholstered in patinated vegetable/natural leather by Fritz Hansen, swivel single-moulded, profiled aluminium base. Designed in 1958-1959 for the Hotel Royal Copenhagen. Produced by Fritz Hansen, probably in the mid-1960s. Normal signs of wear, patinated leather. Literature: Carsten Thau and Kjeld Vindum.
