Kähler ceramics collection

We have received a very large and impressive collection of Kähler ceramics for auction. The collection features nearly 200 items, ranging from tea sets and figurines to large vases. Several of the renowned Kähler artists are represented in the collection, including Svend Hammershøi, Julie Kabell, Astrid Tjalk, Knud Kyhn, and Herman A. Kähler, who was the son of the Holstein potter of the same name who started the company from his small workshop in Næstved. Most of the items offered come from what is considered by many as Kähler's golden age – the early to mid-1900s, when Kähler attracted both local and international attention with beautiful glazes and innovative designs.
