Strong blade in the Nanpokucho style (14th century) but made in the Edo period (1600-1867) when it was popular to make swords in the Nanpokucho O-suriage style, i.e. similar shortened 14th century swords. This blade is approx. 69 long, Hiro-sugua (broad straight hardening line), chu-kissaki (medium point). Mothaba approx. 32.8 mm (blade height measured by Hadaki) Sakihaba approx. 23.2 mm (blade height measured at tip). Blade appears in well-preserved condition and with a clear hardening line.
