Through charity auctions, we create value for organisations working with important social causes – both internationally and locally.


At charity auctions on Lauritz.com, the entire commission is donated, ensuring that every single krone bid goes directly to the organisation. This makes the auction an effective and transparent fundraising tool and gives both sellers and buyers the opportunity to actively support a cause through trade.

Over the years, we have collaborated with a wide range of charitable organisations, including Danmarks Indsamling, the Danish Cancer Society, Save the Children Denmark, the Danish Red Cross, the Danish Red Cross Youth, Plan International Denmark, Thin Blue Line Denmark, the Danish Mental Health Fund, and many others.

In 2025, Lauritz.com has, among others, conducted charity auctions in support of:

  • Thin Blue Line Denmark – DKK 340,750
  • Stafet For Livet – DKK 131,150
  • WILD Nature Foundation – DKK 43,600

All amounts have been raised through auctions where Lauritz.com donated the full commission.


How a Charity Auction Works

A charity auction on Lauritz.com is based on close cooperation between four parties:

  • The seller – a private individual or company donating the item
  • The buyer – who places bids and thereby supports the cause
  • Lauritz.com – which evaluates, facilitates and conducts the auction
  • The organisation – which receives the full proceeds
